ERICA BERSIN, BCPA

Healthcare communications are too often slowed down by bureaucracy, disconnected stakeholders, and messaging that misses the people who matter most: patients.

Organizations struggle to translate complex science into clear, credible, and actionable communications while simultaneously managing clinical trial recruitment, reputation, patient engagement, and operational execution.

ERO Health Communications solves that problem by combining deep healthcare expertise with hands-on execution. Founded by Erica Bersin, BCPA, we help pharmaceutical, biotech, nonprofit, and academic medical organizations cut through complexity, align across organizations, and deliver communications that drive measurable outcomes.

Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience across pharma, CROs, academic medicine, and global healthcare communications, Erica brings a “roll up your sleeves and get it done” approach to solving challenges ranging from clinical trial recruitment and patient advocacy to crisis communications and integrated campaigns.

At its core, ERO Health Communications helps organizations move from confusion and fragmentation to clarity, trust, and impact, especially in moments where healthcare communication can directly affect patient lives.

In her personal time, Erica does pro bono work with organizations in New York City and beyond, loves to travel, and see live music and theatre. In 2025 she became a board certified patient advocate. She is also the co-host and producer of the podcast Patient to Purpose
